He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brashear and Erma Brashear (Miller); his son Brian Brashear; his granddaughter Britley Brashear; and his siblings, Wayne, Billie, Paul, David, Betty Jose, Faye Spencer, Ruth Young and Retha Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Brashear (Thomas); his sons, Wendell Brashear (Mary) of Uniontown, PA, Donald Brashear (Brenda) of Kingwood, WV and Tony Brashear of Uniontown, PA; his grandchildren, Wendell, Jr., Andrea, Jason, Chad, Adam and Katie Brashear; his siblings, Roger Brashear (Darlene) of Westernport, MD, Timothy Brashear (Rosemary) of Westernport, MD and Gloria Jean Syromi of Baltimore, MD; his sister-in-law Becky Thomas; his niece Sarah; his brother-in-law Thomas; and his daughter Sadie Bennet of Barton, MD.. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
