It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger A. Hayden (Barnesville, Maryland), who passed away on June 23, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roger Alexander Hayden and Mary Frances Hayden of Poolesville, MD.; his wife Diane D. Hayden; his children, Caroline Hayden, Elizabeth Chabkoun (Ahmad) and Roger Alexander Hayden, III (Alex); his sister Charlotte Baker; his niece Christina; and his nephew Jason. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church and Shrine, P.O. Box 67, Barnesville, MD 20838.

“Roger was a great kid from my past, way back in the 1970's. Among our friend group we shared many great times in Poolesville, as kids on the farm. Lots of friends from Bullis, our horses, Shakey's pizza and of course, Budweiser.... and lots of fun and laughter around the camp fire . As they say, "those were the days.". We all had a bond as teenagers that lasted a life time . I am very happy to have spent time with Roger as he was the smart one in the bunch. What a guy. Loved by many. Elizabeth”
