He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Ernest Bauer and Helen Loven Bauer; his wife Anna; his children, Rick (Heather) and Debbie (Spencer Lawton); his grandchildren, Sydney Smith, Rebecca Bauer and Emily Bauer; his brother Barry Bauer (Roberta); and his sisters-in-law, Jean Pedersen (Bjorn), Josephine Strenta (Thomas) and Rose Wight (Charles). He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
