She was predeceased by: her parents, Pyare Lal and Kala Kaushal; and her brother Shoran Pyare Lal. She is survived by: her spouse Gladwin Singh; her children, Dr. Rohit G. Singh (Anupama R. Singh) and Ruth G. Briscoe (Noel Briscoe); her grandchildren, Adwitya Singh, Swati Singh, Ryan Briscoe and Amber Briscoe; and also, Ramesh Singh (Basanti Singh), Salomi Lal, Clifford Briscoe (Gloria Briscoe), Norma Hoffpauir (Kevin Hoffpauir) and Velma Briscoe.
