We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2024, at the age of 92, June Goodenow Harry (Barnesville, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though June Goodenow may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Goodenow and Earle Goodenow; her husband Milton C. Harry; and her son Gregory Harry. She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Harry (Christine) and Seth Harry (Ruth); her daughter-in-law Rosemary Harry (June); her granddaughter Nicole Harry; and her brother Theodore Goodenow.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Asbury Methodist Village Guild Chapel and Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the charity of their choice, or to the Humane Society or The Nature Conservancy.
