He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Hermann, Jr. and Mary Magdalene Hermann; and his brother Alfred "Bud" Hermann III. He is survived by: his wife Sarah "Sally" Jane Hermann; his daughters, Kristin Kaye Hermann and Courtney Lange Hermann; his children-in-law, Jesse Nathanael Salter and Kerribeth Elliott; his grandchildren, Luke Aaron Salter and Lila Kaye Salter; and his sisters-in-law, Kaye Louise Baum and Ruth Garrott Hermann.
