He is survived by: his wife Janet Tugwell; his children, William Edward Tugwell, Jr. (Debbie) and Jacqueline Elizabeth Coates; his stepdaughter Jean Cornell; his grandchildren, Nicole Marie Tugwell, Melissa Joan Black, Christopher William Tugwell, Kimberly Michelle Tugwell, James Michael Coates and Sarah Marion Grace Coates; his great grandchildren, Skylar Elizabeth Tugwell, Brooks John Edward Tugwell, Shaniyah Faith Tugwell, Carly Joan Black and Thomas Jack Black; and his sister Frieda Marie Suter (Bill).
