He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Wade Staton and Helen Lucille Staton (Painter); and his granddaughter Brittany Engleman. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Knight (Michael) of Waynesboro and Tammy Harris (Daniel) of Staunton; his sister Patsy Thompson of Staunton; his grandchildren, Tyler Knight (Sarah), Seth Knight (Shawna), Kristy Clark (Jonah), Kasey Hammer (Blake), Courtney Smith (Jeremy) and Caleb Harris (Madison); and his great grandchildren, Sydney, Eisleigh, Gracelynn and Brooklyn.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory (230 Frontier Dr, Staunton, VA 24401). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel (230 Frontier Dr, Staunton, VA 24401).
