He is survived by: his wife Annette Becote; his children, Chimere Becote and Darnell Becote (Brandon); his stepsons, Glen Coates (Toya) and Jermaine Coates (Sherita); his grandchildren, Kashen Kai Becote, Kaleb Becote, Kelise Coates, Jermaine Coates, Jr., Jada Coates, Arianna Coates, Glen Coates, Jr. and Sherrod Coates; his former wife Debra Becote; his stepmother Georgia Becote; his siblings, Michael Becote, Michelle Becote-Jackson (John), Sean "Dwayne" Becote, Deborah Becote, Gregory Bagwell, Brenda Fields, Eugene Fields and Kevin Fields; his siblings-in-law, William Johnson, Dorothy Johnson and Brenda Johnson; his uncle Jeffrey Ward; his nephew Tyrill Becote; and his nieces, Kennedy and Madison Jackson. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the James A Morton & Sons Funeral Home (1701 Laurens St, Baltimore, MD 21217). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
