In the sacred silence of farewell, Richard Alan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Richard Alan's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his father James H. Hamilton. He is survived by: his mother Barbara E. Hamilton; his brothers, John Hamilton (Marianne) and Bob Hamilton (Martha); his niece Lindsay Vervynckt (Brian); his nephews, Matthew Hamilton (Stephania), Michael Hamilton and Andrew Hamilton (Alexandra); and his great-niece McKinney W. Vervynckt.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. (1050 York Rd, Towson, MD 21204). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Towson United Methodist Church (501 Hampton Ln, Towson, MD 21204).
