She was predeceased by: her mother Jean Wood; and her sons, Gary Lee Downey, Jr. and Steven Patrick Downey. She is survived by: her father Earl Wood; her husband Gary Lee Downey Sr.; her children, Melissa Barnhart (Dan), Brian Downey and Justin Downey; her siblings, Josie Cooper (Kevin), Jeannie Garrett (Tom), Lisa Franklin (Jim), Earl Wood and Sandy Black (Gregg); her grandchildren, Kyle Jones (Cierra), Aiden Barnhart, Emily Barnhart and Shane Downey; and her great grandchild Cole Jones.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gonce Funeral Service (4001 Ritchie Hwy, Brooklyn Park, MD 21225). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
