He was predeceased by: his mother Sarah Jones; and his brother Norman. He is survived by: his siblings, Brenda and James; his wife Gay C. Jones; his children, Charlene, Devora, Tammy, Odell Jr. and Maurice; and his foster children, Francis and Kyser. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends.
With the additional, donation funding, TTMAD created the silver dollar club to reward high achievers in the program.
