He was predeceased by: his brother Julian Marcus; and his parents, Ruth Marcus and Melvin Marcus. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Marcus; his children, Richard Marcus (Susan) and Sally Katz (Sidney); his granddaughters, Stephanie Burroughs (Clifton), Heather Katz and Janie Marcus (Casey Boyle); and his great grandchild Finnegan Marcus Boyle.
