Monica Mizvel Hibbert-Watkin Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hibbert and Geraldine Hibbert; her son Devon Montague; and her siblings, Blossom Robinson (Stewart), Ionie Robinson Godfrey, Edna Hibbert, Linden, Albert and Willis Hibbert.
She is survived by: her children, Avril Watkin and Kare Watkin; her stepson Sheldon Watkin; her siblings, Sheron Riddick (Bill), Angela Green (Jimmy), Egla Gayle, Augin Gray, Gloria Hibbert, Elton Hibbert and Eugene Robinson; her grandchildren, Brendalee McLean Dunn, Princess (Courtney), Amari Elisia Montague, Karrie, Khaira, Khaina Watkin, Devonta Montague and Jerado McLean; and her great grandchildren, Riley, Aspen, DeAndre Montague, Ariel, Azindoulia Jasper, Amani Jones, Janiyah Montague and Zacary McLean.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Deliverance Church (711 Walnut Ave, Baltimore, MD 21229). When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March 2020, Monica took it upon herself to create masks, donating them to local hospitals, and nursing homes exemplifying her caring spirit. After Covid she worked for Watkin Security for the last two years.
Monica's contributions to the arts and her community will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
