He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Shatzkin and Harriet Shatzkin; his wife Patricia Patterson Shatzkin; and his sister Vita Shatzkin Tickman. He is survived by: his children, Kate Shatzkin [John Rivera] and Matt Shatzkin [Jennifer Shatzkin]; and his grandchildren, Leah Rivera, Sam Rivera, Jay Shatzkin and Logan Shatzkin.
