He was predeceased by : his former wife Rita Perel; and his parents, Mary Perel and Max Perel. He is survived by : his wife Sandy Pertnoy-Perel; his children, Debbie Shalom, Abby Glaser (Avi) and David Perel (Jill); his step-son Neal Pertnoy (Marci); his grandchildren, Caren Leven (Jon), Erez Shalom (Allie), Alexis Perel, Logan Perel (Ashley), Blaire Perel, Rebecca Weistuch, Elizabeth Levy (Roe), Yoni Glaser (Leah) and Ben Glaser (Ashley); and his step-grandchildren, Carly and Logan Pertnoy. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
