He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Gregory Backus, Jr. and Florence Ruth Backus; his siblings, Cynthia Marie Backus, Michael Xavier Harant, Sr. and Timothy Bruce Harant; and his stepchildren, Chad Erich and Gail Green (Corey). He was also cherished by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
