She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frederick William Schmelz and Margaret Samsthe Schmelz; and her sister Elizabeth Tobin of Colorado. She was also cherished by eight nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Shrine of the Sacred Heart Mt. Washington (5800 Smith Ave, Baltimore, MD 21209). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
