He was predeceased by: his wife Edith Bloom; his brother Sigmund Bloom (Ada); his girlfriend Lois Schapiro; and his brothers, Samuel Berlin and Alvin (Lila Lazen).
He is survived by: his children, Aaron G. Bloom (Maria Howell), Miriam Bloom, Michael Bloom (Elizabeth) and Isaac Rosenberg (Susan); his sister-in-law Rose Berlin; his grandchildren, Andrew Bloom, Richard O'Meara, Samuel Bloom, Emma Bloom, Yani Rosenberg and Orly Rosenberg (Toni Ruocco Rosenberg); and his great grandchildren, Scott Bloom, Thea Bloom, Charlie Rosenberg, Sienna Rosenberg and Riley Ruocco Rosenberg.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sol Levinson's Chapel (8900 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208). A shiva was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 7401 Park Heights Ave, Pikesville, MD 21208.
