The memory of Maria Salpeas of Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Demetrios Salpeas and Paraskevi Kourakou Salpeas; and her brother Nikos Salpeas. She is survived by: her sister Panagiota Salpeas; her brother-in-law Nikos Chelmis; her nieces and nephews, Emmanuel Salpeas and Demetrios Kaminaris; her grandchildren, Panagiota Salpeas, Evanthia Kaminaris and Paraskevi Kaminaris; and her daughters-in-law, Joanne Salpeas and Michelle Kaminaris.
Viewing was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church (520 Ponca St, Baltimore, MD 21224). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Oak Lawn Cemetery (7225 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
