She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Tomaszewski and Tony Tomaszewski; her son Tom; and her brother-in-law Gary. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Hier and Jodi Sampson (Patrick); her grandchildren, Rex, Ivy, Kaylie, Alec, Jack, Willem, Maggy and Jessika; her sisters, Marilyn Meyette (Felix), Ann Schmidt (late Gary) and Barb Dominowski (Jim); her cousin Paul; and her sweetheart Derek Mulligan. She is also survived by her family, friends and all her.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the John C. Burns & Sons Funeral Home (305 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02139). A wake was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Burns Funeral Home (305 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02139). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Genoa Church (179 Summer St, Somerville, MA 02143).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made In Peggy Hier's honor to Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus School (formerly St. Catherine's School), Ms. Toppi's kindergarten class.
