She is survived by: her husband Thomas Unger M.; her half-sister Elizabeth Morrow Wolf (Sanford); and her children, Robert Michael (Julie Kaufmann Unger), Catherine Valentine Smith (Geoffrey) and Andrew Jonathan (Jeanne Bouslog Unger).
