James; his grandparents, Jewerel and Audrey McGowan; his great-grandparents, Willis Webster and Daisy McGowan; his aunts, Sharon Denise McGowan and Gwendolyn McGowan Seagroves; his uncle Lloyd McGowan; and his niece Mya Boyd.
He is survived by: his father Charles Galloway of New Orleans, LA.; his siblings, Patrick McGowan (Renee) of Scranton, PA, Chris McGowan (Patricia) of Windsor Mill, MD, Cassandra L. Boyd-McGowan of Elkridge, MD and Shatonya James-Gilliam (Wendy) of Detroit, MI; his uncles, Jewerel W. McGowan Jr. (Diane) of Adrian, MI, Bobby E. McGowan (Gloria) of New Brunswick, NJ and Henry A. McGowan of Scranton, PA; his aunt Constance Johnson of Foxworth, MS; his nieces and nephews, Capri Hirschler, Breauna Brister, Shanelle McGowan, Brittany Green, Madison Boyd, Luvrelle, NeShane McGowan and Brandon Boyd; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, LaMya, Aymal, Daniel, Kayden, Noah, Amyla and MaLya. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel AME Church North Washington (716 N Washington Ave, Scranton, PA 18509). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel AME Church (716 N Washington Ave, Scranton, PA 18509).
