She was predeceased by: her parents, Haddon B. Murray, Sr. and Beatrice Murray; her husband Franklin Oliver Roane; her sons, Richard Winston, Jr. and Michael Winston; and her siblings, Lillian, Connie, LaVerne, Linda and Haddon "Pete".
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Winston (Donna), June Ellen Simmons (Dirrick), Deborah Winston (William) and Keith Winston; and her sister Marian S. Murray. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
