Though Joanne may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sons, Marc David (Pauline), Richard and Jon Steven Lapin; her grandchildren, Jacob Noah and Jordan Alexander Lapin; her brother Michael D. Sussman; and also Tovah E. Sussman of Portland, OR.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Arlington Chizuk Amuno Cemetery (4300 N Rogers Ave, Baltimore, MD 21215). A shiva was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 7:00 PM at 15 Beecham Ct, Owings Mills, MD 21117.
