With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean Louise Ballard (Baltimore, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 27, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Jean Louise leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband A. Wayne Ballard, Jr.; and her parents, Jessie Elmer and David Ellsworth Tydings. She is survived by: her children, Victoria Piper (Edward), Melissa Reznick (Howard), David Ballard (Carol), Amy Ballard-Eid (Jean-Michel), Jessie Albee and Megan Carlton (Peter); and her brother John Tydings (Judith). She is also survived by grandchildren (17), great-grandchildren (26), and nephews and nieces.
