He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Hines and Allen Hines; his wife Dorothy Gibson Hines; and his pet Scruffy. He is survived by: his brother Ned Hines (Barbara). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, neighbors, his friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faulkner Funeral Home (15 C F Edwards Ln, Saluda, VA 23149). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
