He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Caldwell and Alice Caldwell. He is survived by: his wife Carol Caldwell (Klaburner); his children, Suzanne Gentile (Rick) of Jacksonville, Robin Caldwell of Ocean Pines and Gregory Caldwell (JoLana) of Willards; his sister Patricia Rubenstein of Salisbury; and his pet Dolly. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, various nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Community Church (11227 Racetrack Rd, Berlin, MD 21811). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Community Church at Ocean Pines Choir, 11227 Racetrack Road, Berlin, MD 21811.
