He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Lee Sugg and Robert Lee Sugg; and his brother Robert Lee Sugg Jr. of Baltimore. He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Sugg; his children, Daniel E. Sugg and Laura A. Zengel; his daughter-in-law Deborah Callis Sugg; and his grandchildren, Joseph A. Zengel V, Hunter L. Sugg, Jaden A. Zengel and Bethany R. Sugg.
