It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Aleen Carol Kerwin Chabot of Aspen Hill, Maryland, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Kerwin (Garsson) and Edward Kerwin; her sister Joan; and her son Lewis Chabot. She is survived by: her husband Herb Chabot; her children, Elliot (Donald) and Nancy Jo Chabot; her grandchildren, Jules, Niko Chabot and Sophie Potter; and also Parker Potter.
Aleen was the co-founder of the local Knitting and Crocheting Club at the Aspen Hill Library, which met weekly until the Pandemic moved it to Zoom, where it continues today.
