He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Powers and Gertrude Powers; his wife Kathleen Mary; his family Kathleen; and his children, Thomas Powers, Jr. (Karen), Patricia Anderson (Thomas), Karen McCollum (William), Susan Stocker (William), Robert Powers (Claire), Jacqueline Stapleton (Michael) and Kathleen Goodwin (Daniel). He was also cherished by seventeen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Saint Andrew by the Bay Church, Hospice of the Chesapeake, or a charity of your choice.
