He is survived by: his sister Sarah Jane McGovern; his wife Evelyn of Arnold, MD; his son Ryan McGovern; his daughter-in-law Kristen; his grandchildren, Olivia and Benjamin of Severna Park, MD; his daughter Rachel Schweikert; his son-in-law Grant Schweikert; his grandchildren, Abby, Ellie and Matthew of Davidsonville, MD.; and his siblings, Patty Heitz (Bruce) of Arlington, TX, Jim (Carmela) of Los Angeles, CA, Kitty Flinn (George) of Overland Park, KS, John (Lisa) of Severna Park, MD and Margaret Tyrrell (Dennis) of Whitehall, MD. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The mass will be private, due to the pandemic.
