He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor G. Troy and Martha B. Troy; and his siblings, Mary Troy, Peter Troy and Philip Troy.
He is survived by: his cousin Melitta Kessaris-Manowarda (Jana); his wife Patricia Troy (Troy) of Vestavia Hills, Alabama.; his son David Christopher Troy (Jennifer Troy) of Arnold; his grandchildren, Thomas Troy of Baltimore and Caroline Troy; his siblings, James Troy of Lopez Island, WA, Anna Marie Manowarda of Binghamton, NY, Kathleen Jean Jacques of Brooklyn, NY and Yocheved Lavon of Jerusalem; and also, Olga and Michael. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Troy's contributions to the community were often behind the scenes.
