She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smith and Ora Smith of Severn, MD.; her husband Victor; and her son John "Walter". She is survived by: her daughter Sherrie; her grandson John "Clinton" (Karyn); and her great grandchild Arley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Anne Arundel Historical Society or Asbury United Methodist Church in Arnold, MD.
