He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gretchen Allen (Putnam) and Dean Allen; his wife Roberta (Maness); his children, Heidi (Tibor Lazar), Richard Jr. (Nancy Cohen), Gregory, Rosie and Rachel; his grandsons, Corvin and Keaton Lazar; his sisters, Virginia Bosveld (Robert) and Carol Kampen (Larry); his nephews, Richard Bosveld, Matthew Kampen and Nathan Kampen; and his niece Heather Bosveld.
