With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Grindstaff (Arnold, Maryland), born in Wesley, Iowa, who passed away on February 5, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Johnny Lee Grindstaff; her parents, Ervin Olson and Emma Laux Olson; and her siblings, Florence Wager (Oscar), Lucille Pink (Robert), Rose Blau (Merle), Kay Olson, Pete Olson (Phyllis), Don Olson, Wally Olson (Valerie) and Bob Olson (Pat).
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Grindstaff (Lesa) of Greer, SC, Jeffrey Grindstaff (Kim) of McKinny, TX, Mary Jane Evans (James) of Annapolis, MD and Michael Grindstaff (Carrie-Anne) of Merrick, NY.; her grandchildren, John Jeffrey, Patrick, Mary Katherine, Victoria, Matthew, Stephanie Grace, James, Emma, Erin, Keira and Mary Eileen; her sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Olson and Norma Olson; and her brother Mike Olsen (Pat).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Mary's name.
