She is survived by: her parents, Randy Bender and Erma Bender; her brother Randy Bender (Andrea) of Arlington; her nephew Joseph Bender of Dumfries; her niece Virginia Kornmeyer (Patrick); her great-niece Eleanor; her great-nephew Vincent of Unionville; and also Mia Keith.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arc of the Central Chesapeake Region and OBI, inc.
