He is survived by: his wife Rox Ann Thompson of Arnold, MD; his children, Kevin Ryan of Brookings, SD, Colleen Ryan (Maurice Huggins) of Chester, MD and Patrick Ryan (Katy Butts-Ryan) of Hampton, VA; his grandsons, Archer, Finnigan Ryan, Emmett and Brady Huggins; and his siblings, Valerie Anne Gass (Dan) and Sean Ryan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
