He is survived by: his spouse Luetta "Kitty" Prete; his children, Dawn Basso (Michael) and Salvatore Joseph Prete, Jr.; his grandchildren, Zachary Basso, Trevor Basso and Charley; and his siblings, Ralph Prete (Patricia), Tommy (Bobbie), Elaina Wilhelm (late Robert) and Charles Prete (Gail).
