He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Jacob Sheeler and Mary Elizabeth McNamara. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Sheeler; and his children, Kim Bell (Ted), John Sheeler (Christine), Mike Sheeler (Angie) and Chris Sheeler (Katie). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in John's name to Mount Saint Joseph High School and Believe in Tomorrow Children's Foundation.
