He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Jason Bowen and Mary Bowen (Harris); and his siblings, Harold, Annalee, Ruth, Eppie and Dan.

He is survived by: his daughters, Rose Marie Bowen of Severna Park, MD and Kylia Ann Bowen (Lee Bollhorst) of Severna Park, MD; his grandson Kyle Anthony Bollhorst (Robyn); his great grandchildren, Sienna Lynn, Beau Hendrix and Mia Rose; and his sister Betty Collins of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
