She is survived by: her brother Carl Kitt, Sr. (Patricia); her children, Darryl Kitt Sr. (Eleanor), Eleanor Johnson (Cardinal), Jeannette Turner (Richard), Sandra Shorter (James), Nelson Shorter (Cecilia), Keith Shorter (Maurishka) and Donna Shorter (Delmont); and her siblings-in-law, James Riley (Elisabeth), Harry Coates, James Toye, Daniel Jenifer (Elaine), Bruce Jenifer, David Jenifer, Gladys Coates, Irene Coates, Mary Dorsey, Eva Toye, Catherine Shorter, Helen Hargrove, Betty Jenifer, Virginia Plater, Judy Toye and Janet Long (John). She is also survived by 22 Grandchildren, 35 Great grandchildren, 2 Godchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
