She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Dean and Irene Dean; her stepmother Viola Dean; and her husband Robert Lorrayne Hawkins, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Roxanne Burroughs (Lewis), Ardena Carr (George), Karen Burks (Ronald), Kimberly Adkins (Keith), Arnold Hawkins (Robin) and Terrance Hawkins, Sr.; and her sisters, Fay Jackson and Julenne Dean. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, four aunts, two uncles, four sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
