She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Maggie Chatmon and Saxfield Chatmon; her husband Carl Talbert; her children, Barbara (Phill), Carlene, Valerie and Carl, Jr. (Taressa); her siblings, Saxfield, Jr., Sarah, Michael, Albert (Lydia), Carolyn and Carlton (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Michael (Norma), Nicole and Carl III; her great grandchildren, Scarlet and Mikaela; and her siblings-in-law, Frankie (Coco), Gwen Stallworth and Vivian Evans. She was also cherished by her children and in later years her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
