She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul L. H. Heine and Madeleine Hicks Heine; and her siblings, Madeleine Alisa and Dr. Paul Heine. She is survived by: her husband Ray Appler; her sons, Paul Wicker (Daphne), Todd Wicker (Christine) and Richard Wicker (Tara); and her grandchildren, Max, Tyler, Zach, Maggie, Gavin and Reese.
