She was predeceased by: her parents, Brodia Lee Bass, Sr. and Helena Catherine Hyde Bass; her husband Donald Edelen; her siblings, Marguerite E. Reed, Helena Elsie Marsellas and Brodia Lee Bass, Jr.; and her niece Suzanna A. Reed.
She is survived by: her daughter Leslie Gail Edelen Smith; her son-in-law Howard Burgess Smith, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Barbara "Cookie" Bass. She is also survived by three nieces and one nephew along with many dear friends.
