With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sylvia Maynard Elder of Annapolis, Maryland, born in Concord, New Hampshire, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Maynard and Nettie Maynard; her daughter Sheila Elder Korzep; and her husband Samuel A. Elder. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Elder Erikson of Laveen, AZ, Sarah Elder (Annapolis, MD), Louise Elder Chestnut (Arnold, MD), Sharon Elder Thayer and Sutton. She is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren, thirty-six great- grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
