It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Niemi (Annapolis, Maryland), born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 6, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Anthony Murosky; her husband Walter E. Niemi; and her brothers, Arthur Murosky, Edward Murosky of Erie and Harry Murosky of Raleigh, NC..
She is survived by: her parent Helen Bukowski Murosky; her son Kenneth Niemi (Suzanne Niemi) of Chesapeake Beach, MD; her sister Marian Kubeja of Erie; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Niemi, Kristin Niemi and Sarah Dionne; and her great grandchildren, Ruby Niemi, Hazel Dionne and Cora Dionne. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Make-A-Wish® America, The Gulf Tower.
