She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Alavosius and Petronella Alavosius (Karpovicius); her husband Joseph Robert "Joe" Kapurch; and her siblings, Joseph Alavosius (Katherine), John Alavosius (Elizabeth), Bernard Alavosius (Estelle), Beatrice Molloy (Bart) and Julia Cronin (Jeremiah).
She is survived by: her children, Captain Thomas Kapurch (Julie), Stephen Kapurch (Kim) and Linda Kapurch; her grandson Dr. Joseph Kapurch II (Caitlin); her great grandchildren, Heidi and Hans; her granddaughters, Dr. Katie Kapurch and Christine Lemaster (Nicholas); and her great grandchildren, Stephanie Giambone (Peter) and Jennifer Coletta (Joseph). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
