She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Benjamin Kirkland; her parents, Ocie Guthrie and Sallie Guthrie; and her sister Hazel Pless. She is survived by: her daughters, Marian (Kevin), Kathi (Clay), Jane, Elizabeth (Shawn) and Deb.
